My Other Personal Favorite: Leaf Necklace

I planned this piece out for some time. The leaf pendant itself is upcycled from a previous piece of jewelry. Its an actual leaf dipped in precious metal. I searched about 2 weeks or more before finding the perfect accent beads but the wait was worth it.

The beads I chose are gorgeous! I chose 3 different types of faceted beads, one being the largest with a brown luster and gorgeous bronze finish. The other 2 are the same size, one set with a brown luster and the other set with a green luster. Those also have the bronze finish. The accent beads for these are smooth green luster beads with the bronze finish as well. I used gold bead spacers and bronze wire to string the beads on.

The matching bracelet has the same beads with 2 small leaf charms. The bracelet isn't finished yet as I still want to add matching leaves.

Elegant Labradorite Bracelet - A personal favorite

This beautiful labradorite bracelet is one of the first pieces of jewelry I've made for myself.

The labradorite bead is actually quite large considering, and also faceted. The natural labradorite is gorgeous and quiet possibly one of my favorite stones. This particular bead flashes many beautiful colors including blue, green, pink and gold.

Also, the beads I had left over from another project matched up perfectly with the labradorite. I used 3 green round beads with a bronze finish and one round faceted of the same color and finish. I also took a small flower charm off an older piece of jewelry which adds a delicate touch. I then finished off the piece by using the large ornate bead caps on the labradorite bead as well as 2 small pewter bead caps for the 2 accent beads, also in the antique silver finish.

 I also used the large chain which I then wrapped with small silver bead chain. Finishes the piece off nicely. I'll be working on a matching necklace for this piece as well as earrings. The beauty of this piece is captivating and is a close tie for my #1 fav.
